February 28th 2020 Grand Cru is a place with original atmosphere located in Lodecká 4 in the centre of Prague. The Grand Cru restaurant was created in a beautiful place of the former Red Table, in a baroque house with a courtyard, a few steps from Petrské náměstí. Luxury wine bar and restaurant are run by one of the largest Czech importers of wines and noble spirits.
Do not hesitate to visit the wine bar in front of the restaurant, open any evening. An incredibly comprehensive wine card with 1,500 different wines awaits you, as well as an up-to-date selection of interesting wines on the glass.
A light lunch menu, à la carte and sophisticated wine pairing tasting menus are prepared daily. The kitchen emphasizes the season and perfect processing of luxurious ingredients. Grand Cru prepares their own pâtés, sausages and smoked cheeses.
For five years, Grand Cru has been inseparably associated with the name of Jan Punčochář, the legendary Prague chef. Jan Punčochář left the restaurant last year to open his own business and the owners hired two young talented chefs – Svatopluk Hemmer and Sasha Pavlovich. Both of them have experience from abroad and from home, for some time their names belonged alongside, for example, with the chef Miroslav Kalina or with group Ambiente restaurateur Tomáš Karpíšek. So they definitely come to the Grand Cru from the Extraleague.
And what is the price level? Starters about 15 EUR, main courses about 25 EUR
The restaurant is open Monday to Saturday from 11.30-15.00 and from 18.00 – 23.00
