Day trip to Karlovy Vary and St.Maurus reliquary

Join us for a nice day trip to Karlovy Vary, the famous Czech spa town, and visit the amazing Moser glassworks. Admire the incredible reliquary of St. Maurus in Bečov Castle and have a nice lunch.

Join us for one of our best tours! Our full-day trip starts in Prague in the early morning hours. After a journey of about two hours in a comfortable air-conditioned minibus with refreshments on board and wi-fi available, we will arrive in Karlovy Vary, one of the most visited Czech spa towns, founded as early as 1370 by the Czech emperor Charles IV, with 13 main hot springs and more than 300 smaller ones. Since 1948 Karlovy Vary has also acted as the host of the famous film festival, the biggest in Central Europe and one of the oldest worldwide.

Together we will visit the town centre, with its amazing spa buildings and the most powerful spring, Vřídlo, rising from a depth of 3000 metres with a temperature about 73 °C, and also the headquarters and museum of the Moser Glassworks, one of the most famous glass manufacturers in Europe, founded in 1857. The amazing samples of contemporary and historical art glass exhibited there are just breathtaking!

After a three-course tasting lunch in a charming restaurant, we will move on to the town and castle of Loket nad Ohří, a stunning little mediaeval place. You will enjoy the unique locations which became very popular through appearing in the film Casino Royale with James Bond as 007 🙂

Our next stop will be something really special and extraordinary, and we hope that for you it will be truly spectacular. Have you ever heard about the reliquary of St. Maurus? This amazing religious artefact is exhibited in Bečov Castle, and after the Czech coronation jewels is the second most important historical item stored in the Czech Republic and a priceless part of its cultural heritage.

The expected return to Prague about 8 PM

Dear customers,

I am deeply sorry to inform you that unfortunately our company will no longer be able to provide any trips and as of today, we are closing all the bookings.

This decision was hard to make and it came as a result of a sudden death of our CEO, who also was my beloved father, and we are not able to provide an adequate experience for you as we need some time to deal with both practical matters and our grief.

I would like to kindly ask you to cancel your reservations yourselves, so you are able to get the full refund as soon as possible.

If you had a chance to enjoy any of our trips with Láďa (Vladimir), I whole-heartedly believe you have enjoyed yourselves and created some unforgettable memories together and I hope as well that Láďa will be remembered in your hearts in the same way that he is in mine. I would be pleased to hear about your experiences with my dad and if you'd like to send me any photos, stories or memories, I greatly encourage you to do so.

Thank you for your understanding and your cooperation in these difficult times.

Should there be any other questions, don’t hesitate to contact me via my personal e-mail: barbora.stejskal@gmail.com or phone: +420 603 382 933

Sincerely,

Barbora Stejskal
