Enjoy a unique opportunity to admire the remarkable dexterity and skill of Czech glassmakers refined virtually to perfection over the centuries, and also visit the 1842 birthplace of the most famous Czech beer – Pilsner Urquell.

The trip begins in Prague in the morning. After less than an hour in the pleasant air-conditioned minivan with Wi-Fi and the possibility of a small refreshment along the way, we reach our first destination – the famous glassworks where Czech crystal glass of the highest quality has been produced and exported throughout the world since 1846. You will tour the glass production from start to finish, from the blowing of liquid glass to cutting and the final grinding and polishing. In the end, you will have the opportunity to buy products from the glassworks at very attractive factory prices in the company shop.

After visiting the glassworks, we will travel for about half an hour to the capital of Czech beer – the city of Pilsen. First, we will have a three-course degustation lunch in the renowned local restaurant, where you will be able to taste typical Czech cuisine in modern and remarkably tasty versions.

After lunch, we will tour the world-famous Pilsner Brewery, where masters have brewed the most famous Czech beer – Pilsner Urquell – since 1842Along the way, you will learn about the technology of its production and its nearly 180-year-long history. And what would a brewery visit be without tasting its fantastic product?

Take a look at the authentic places where famous Pilsner Urquell beer was born 176 years ago and where its story continues to this day. From the Visitor Centre with the brewery bus, we will move to one of the most modern bottling plants with a capacity of 120,000 bottles per hour.  You’ll learn about the ingredients from which Pilsner Urquell beer is brewed and visit the heart of the brewery – three brewhouses from different historical periods. The highlight of the tour is tasting unfiltered and unpasteurised Pilsner Urquell beer tapped directly from the lager barrels in the historical cellars.

In the end, you will have the opportunity to purchase interesting souvenirs and/or a good dose of fresh Pilsner beer in the brewery shop.
