Kutná Hora and Czech National Stud day trip

Kutná Hora and Czech National Stud day trip

Nice day trip to the city of Kutná Hora, one of the most visited UNESCO towns in the Czech Republic, and to the stunning National Stud in Kladruby – another famous UNESCO World Heritage Site.

This amazing day trip will start in Prague in the morning hours. After an hour we will arrive at the charming jewel of Central Bohemia, the amazing mediaeval UNESCO city of Kutná Hora. Once it was the second richest city in the Czech Kingdom, wealthy from silver mining and with a variety of architectural monuments and the breathtaking Gothic St. Barbara’s Cathedral, founded in 1388 and the Early Gothic Cathedral of Assumption Of Our Lady And St.John The Baptist from 1320. But together we will visit not only these amazing cathedrals, but also Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque buildings in the city centre and the unique Stone Fountain from the 15th century.

After the food tasting lunch in a unique cosy restaurant, we will visit the mysterious Bone Church in Sedlec, a unique mediaeval ossuary decorated with more than 40,000 human bones.

The second destination of this day trip will be unique world-famous Czech National Stud in Kladruby nad Labem, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. The National Stud in Kladruby is one of the oldest stud farms in the world while being home to the oldest Czech indigenous breed of horses – the Kladruber.

We will discover the history of the Kladruber – a horse breed that was selectively bred (probably as the only breed in the world) specifically for ceremonial purposes of rulers and the tradition of which goes back at least to the 14th century.

Dear customers,

I am deeply sorry to inform you that unfortunately our company will no longer be able to provide any trips and as of today, we are closing all the bookings.

This decision was hard to make and it came as a result of a sudden death of our CEO, who also was my beloved father, and we are not able to provide an adequate experience for you as we need some time to deal with both practical matters and our grief.

I would like to kindly ask you to cancel your reservations yourselves, so you are able to get the full refund as soon as possible.

If you had a chance to enjoy any of our trips with Láďa (Vladimir), I whole-heartedly believe you have enjoyed yourselves and created some unforgettable memories together and I hope as well that Láďa will be remembered in your hearts in the same way that he is in mine. I would be pleased to hear about your experiences with my dad and if you'd like to send me any photos, stories or memories, I greatly encourage you to do so.

Thank you for your understanding and your cooperation in these difficult times.

Should there be any other questions, don’t hesitate to contact me via my personal e-mail: barbora.stejskal@gmail.com or phone: +420 603 382 933

Sincerely,

Barbora Stejskal
